Saturdays were one of Charlie's favorite days. It was one of the few days in which she got to sleep in without any of her friends waking her him. That was what she was doing right now, sleeping. She would have continued sleeping if it weren¡¯t for the sound of birds chirping outside her window. Well, they weren't only chirping, but pecking her window as well. She moaned and put a pillow over her head, not ready to give into being conscious. On a normal day, if her clock wasn't currently on the floor (face down), she would have looked at it and remarked about how she hated the birds¡¯ annoying chirping or some crazy comment that only the brunette would make to herself. Apparently today was not a normal day because her clock was face down on the ground and she had no idea how late she was being woken up. Even though that part of the day was not normal it didn't mean that she didn't go take her usual shower and the like. On her way to the bathroom, spring clothes in hand, she noticed that her roommates were not in bed, which meant that it was probably sometime around the afternoon. Sometimes, meaning usually, Charlie was the last one up because they were early risers or she was a late sleeper. The brunette stayed laying there for a few minutes before she quickly got up. She had promised to go parachuting with Adam, and she hoped that he hasn't thought that she wasn't going to show. The brunette walked into the bathroom with her clothes in her hands, and after thirty minutes or so she was ready.
The brunette grabbed the clock off the floor and she nearly dropped it again when she saw the time. She quickly walked out of the room and decided that she should grab something to eat in the kitchen before she went outside to meet Adam. It would be better for her stomach to be full before parachuting. She was incredibly hungry too. It didn't help that Charlie didn't eat a lot for dinner since she was feeling a little bit down yesterday night. It wasn't often when the brunette got upset by the fact that she didn't have her family by her anymore, but for some reason she just had to remember what had happened. Charlie ran down to the kitchens and looked for anything that tasted good. Normally she would be extremely picky about what she would eat, but right now she didn't care since she was pretty sure Adam was going to leave if she wasn't there soon. The brunette looked through the cabinets and cupboards, refusing the help of the house elves. It wasn¡¯t until she realized that she couldn¡¯t be able to find anything was when she had asked the house elves for help. A couple of minutes later she left with a semi-full stomach.
Charlie ran as fast as she could without getting into trouble. She finally made it to the courtyard, and she looked around for Adam. When she spotted him sitting by a tree, the brunette¡¯s stomach suddenly was filled with butterflies. It was an unfamiliar feeling, and she wasn¡¯t sure whether or not she liked that feeling. There was one thing for certain though. Charlie was beginning to like Adam more than a close friend. ¡°ADAM!¡± She shouted as she ran across the courtyard toward the tree where he was sitting at. Several people¡¯s head turned, but the brunette ignored those people. When she finally made it to the tree, she sat down next to him and smiled. ¡°I¡¯m so glad that you waited for me. I am so sorry about the fact that I was late. I overslept.¡± Charlie told him. She looked at him and smiled again, but then she noticed the scratch beneath his eye. The brunette may not be the observant person on earth, but she knew when something was different with someone she cared about. ¡°What happened to you, Adam?¡±
